Instashow | GitHub

Instashow is a solo full-stack pixel-perfect clone based on the popular social media platform, Instagram. This application provides a platform where users can interact with other users via posts/comments/likes/followers/ and the user update system. These features give the user a sense of personal customization in regards to what they are being displayed and how they choose to be displayed on the site.

Snacksy | GitHub

Snacksy was a group full-stack project clone of the popular e-commerce site Etsy. This application provides an avenue where snackers across the world can come together to share their love for all snacks. Users will have the ability to add snacks to our database as well as leave their thoughts and ideas on that particular snack which will be viewed by all other users.

About me

Hi, my name is Michael Dasch and the cutie on my left is bestfriend Leo! I was born on Yokosuka Military base located in Kanagawa Japan, where I spent a little over the first decade of my life. I am now currently living in San Diego, California and excited to be looking for new opportunities in the software engineering industry.

I am a Colorado Mesa University graduate, with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health and Fitness Promotion. I was also a 4 year starter on the NCAA Division 2 Mens Lacrosse team where we won 3 conference championships, so I am well aware of what it takes for a team to be successful.

When I'm not at my computer, I try my best to get outdoors as much as possible. I love all sorts of different things and consider myself to be a jack of all trades. When the suns out I love to be by the beach and when the weather starts to cool off you can catch me up at the mountains. I enjoy going on long hikes with my dog and really just exploring the outdoors. With all that being said, don't get me wrong I love my fair share of gamimg ...lol. I am a big PC gamer and I'm pretty much open to trying any new game at least once, but my favorite game to date has got to be Ghost of Tsushima!
